Vice president Li Hao companied by the Director of Social Science Department Liu Feng, the Deputy Director of Teaching Affair Department Lv Jianrong, deputy director of faculty division Ying Weifeng and other officals went to our school doing survey and investigation in the afternoon on May 17.
The Dean of our school Cui Yaping made a report on the construction work of the school, the teaching and scientific research progress, and the condition of postgraduate education program in the meeting. Leaders and teacher representatives combing their own experience talked about the suggestion and views on the twelfth five-year plan. And the questions had been answered one by one.
After listening the speeches they had made, vice president Li Hao said that the school of foreign languages have made great achievements in talent training and improving the education quality. Now, the school is in its golden age for development which is due to the unification of leaders and teachers. He emphasized that the characteristics should be remained and the key points should be stressed when making the outline of the twelfth five-year plan. The relationship between long-term and short-term projects should be handled correctly. At last, he hoped that by making efforts in the twelfth five-year plan the school of foreign languages will become stronger.
